Jamey Fadim Joins Grant Park Orchestral Association Board
Jamey Fadim was elected to the
Board of Directors of the Grant Park Orchestral Association
(GPOA) on June 16th. The GPOA is the
governing body for the
Grant Park Music
Festival which is the nation's only free, outdoor classical
music series, with performances at the Pritzker Pavilion in
Millennium Park.

Pin-A-Sister/Examinate Comarde Kicks-off Breast Cancer
Awareness Campaign at the Governor’s Mansion
On April 20th, women from around the state gathered at the
Executive Mansion to honor breast cancer survivors and celebrate
Pin-A-Sister/Examinate Comadre’s fourth anniversary.
Pin-A-Sister/Examinate Comadre
is a faith-based, breast cancer awareness campaign that promotes
education and vigilance surrounding breast health in the
African-American and Latino communities. A project of ACCESS
Community Health Network, Pin-A-Sister/Examinate Comadre has reached
over 500,000 individuals across Illinois.

Kevin Conlon Lectures at la Universidad de Chile-Santiago
For the 5th consecutive year,
Kevin Conlon traveled to Santiago, Chile to teach at the
University of Chile in cooperation with the University of Chicago's
Harris School of Public
Policy. This year, Conlon taught a
week long class on comparative labor policy.

Mary Kennelly Joins Friends of the Parks Board
At their 35th Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, Mary Kennelly
joined the Board of Friends of the Park.
Friends of the Parks is the Chicago’s leading parks advocacy group,
dedicated to preserving, protecting and improving our regions parks
and forest preserves for all residents.

Monica Metzler Presents to Council for Advancement and Support
of Higher Education
On December 14th, Monica Metzler gave a presentation on Strategic
Planning for Milestone Occasions at the
C.A.S.E. Region V annual conference in Chicago. C.A.S.E., the
Council for Advancement and Support of Higher Education, is an
international organization for advancement professionals in academia
that includes fundraising, alumni relations, publications and public
relations professionals. She was joined in the presentation by past
clients from the
McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University who
shared their experience of planning and executing the school's 100th
anniversary celebration.
